This “How to Make a Movie” video series was created in response to a subscriber who asked me to detail the filmmaking process I go through when making my short film productions. This is the first video in the series, which also happens to be the first stage of film production: screenplay development. Your screenplay is your roadmap which guides the rest of the filmmaking process, and in my opinion this is where most of your time should be spent before even beginning such things like casting and location scouting.
