In this indie filmmaking tips for directors livestream I wanted to talk about an article I read on the LA Times website about Hollywood directors either walking away from or being booted from big film projects like Star Wars and movies in the Marvel franchise due to “creative differences”. With directing salaries being in the millions of dollars for the projects, would you yourself to have your filmmaking career be influenced by what Guillermo del Toro says “More money for less (creative) freedom”?
